1. How soon can I bring my vehicle in for repairs after an accident?
2. My insurance company suggests that I go to a certain body shop; do I need to go there?
Insurance companies may have a preferred list of shops, but these are only as a suggestion to you. Ultimately, it is your choice of which body shop you would like to repair your vehicle. It is illegal for an insurance company to tell you where to have your vehicle repaired or where to get an estimate.
3. I cannot drive my car; can I have it towed to your shop?
Yes, you can. Our partnership with Concord Tow World offers towing services even after our normal business hours. They can also provide vehicle storage overnight or on weekends and they will bring your vehicle to our shop the next day we’re open.
4. Do you offer rental car service?
If you need to get back on the road as quickly as possible, we can help you make the necessary arrangements for a rental car. Please note that an insurance company will only pay for the rental if you have the option on your policy. If you are unsure about this, please check with your insurance provider to find out about your rental coverage and any limitations.
5. My insurance company said that I should get two estimates. Is that really necessary?
By California law, you’re only required to get one estimate. The damage report is a crucial part of the repair process and it should list all of the visibly damaged items. It will also specify whether these damaged areas will be repaired or replaced and the associated cost to perform each operation. As with any of our services, we recommend that you ask as many questions as you need to if you are unsure anything.
6. Will the new paint match my vehicle’s existing paint job?
Our shop uses Nexa Autocolor®, a waterborne paint made by PPG™. They provide some of the best paint in the auto industry to ensure high quality color matching on every car or truck. We take pride in our ability to make your vehicle look like it was never in an accident in the first place. This paint is also environmentally friendly as we always do our part to preserve the air quality of the beautiful San Francisco Bay Area.
7. How long will it take for you to complete the repairs?
The repair time is dependent on the amount of work required to fix the damage to your vehicle. Once you receive an estimate from a member of our team, please ask how long the repair process will take to complete. We understand that being without your vehicle can be a burden so we do our best to accommodate all of our customers and get your vehicle back on the road as quickly as possible. However, repairs can be delayed as the result of our technicians finding additional damage or waiting for information from your insurance company. We will update you immediately if any additional time is needed.
